AHS executives are spending millions of taxpayer dollars on waterfront offices, despite already having perfectly good office space inside Highland Hospital.
These executives are the same ones orchestrating the layoffs of hundreds of AHS workers. It must be nice to sign away people’s jobs from a luxury office suite overlooking the Bay.
The layoffs are currently deferred until June while the county looks for ways to keep our funding. But AHS workers demand that the layoffs be stopped and not just deferred. The executives need to stop wasting money on fancy offices and keep our public healthcare infrastructure off the chopping block!
