To assert U.S. dominance over Chinese corporations in the southern hemisphere, the U.S. government has been fighting to prop up right wing regimes that will carry out their bidding and favor U.S. corporate interests. But the working class and poor masses have not surrendered. In Bolivia, sections of the working class, along with Indigenous communities and small farmers have been carrying out a nationwide rebellion, marked by road blockades, strikes, independent assemblies, and mass mobilizations, all with the aim of forcing the resignation of the Trump-favored President Rodrigo Paz. The Bolivian masses are opening a new era of struggle in Latin America, an era that can help influence U.S. activists here to defeat reaction and chart a course independent of the corporate political parties.

Join us to learn about this important struggle and its relevance for activists in the US.

We will be joined by:

Aldierio: a metalworker; member of the national leadership of CSP-CONLUTAS; a militant of the International Workers League and the United Socialist Workers Party (Brazil); currently in Bolivia.

Jose Villa of the Bolivian MST (Movimiento
Socialista de Trabajadores)
