Russia has sent its powerful military forces to invade and occupy Ukraine. The U.S. and its European allies have responded, as they said they would, with economic sanctions against Russia.
The actions of the rulers of all these countries has nothing to do with the well-being of the majority of the people of Ukraine, who are simply being used as pawns in the efforts of these powers to dominate their homeland.
We cannot believe the propaganda of either side — they are lies meant to get us to fall in line with their own programs of domination. Our support should be for the people of Ukraine, not these brutal forces of domination.
In Russia people have demonstrated across the country and have been met with repression from the Russian government, with reportedly more than 1700 people already arrested as of Thursday night. In the U.S. there have been small demonstrations calling on the U.S. to aid Ukraine or to not intervene.
We need to raise our voices in support of the Ukrainian people — not the big powers that are locked in a struggle for control and domination of the region. We cannot ignore the plight of the people of the region. To be silent is to give consent.
Russian troops out of Ukraine!
U.S. and Europe — hands off Ukraine!
The people of the region have the right to determine their own future — free of outside forces of domination!
